About

The Vision

Through numerous visits to Uganda with students, friends, and colleagues, Heike Rabus realized that we as Europeans don’t just come to offer help—rather, we return from these trips enriched, inspired, and deeply moved by the experience.

Her vision is to build a bridge between Uganda and Germany.
Through mutual visits and hands-on support—especially in the areas of education, healthcare, and agriculture—the goal is to improve future opportunities for people in Uganda. At the same time, visitors from Germany are invited to learn from the Ugandan people’s positive outlook on life, their contentment, creativity, and willingness to help. These encounters are meant to inspire both sides to reflect on and reshape their own ways of thinking.
